Position Overview:
Little Paper Kids is seeking an experienced, strategic leader and critical thinker to serve as
our Manager of Supply Chain. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will oversee all
aspects of our supply chain, from managing manufacturers to ensuring the accuracy of
inventory and managing logistics and shipping costs. We’re looking for a candidate with an
entrepreneurial mindset who can drive efficient, cost-effective supply chain strategies that
support our growth and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supply Chain Leadership: Lead and manage relationships with all manufacturing
partners, ensuring quality, timely deliveries, and cost-efficiency.
• Logistics Management: Oversee logistics and supply chain operations, including
inventory management, shipping, and receiving, with a focus on accuracy and
timeliness.
• Problem-Solving and Innovation: Resolve supply chain issues proactively,
collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement effective
solutions.
• Cost Management: Evaluate and maintain relationships with shipping providers to
optimize costs and reliability.
• Warehouse Oversight: Supervise the warehouse team, ensuring operational
accuracy and efficiency and conducting regular audits to reduce shrinkage and
improve overall quality.
• Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to streamline the supply
chain, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
• Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to the CEO on supply chain
performance, identifying and implementing improvements as needed.
• Occasional Travel: Conduct limited travel, including international, to strengthen
relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration,
Logistics, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a demonstrated track
record of success in managing manufacturers and logistics.
• Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to make quick,
effective decisions under pressure.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and strategic approach to leading supply chain
initiatives.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and inventory management
systems.
