Superintendent - Commercial Construction
Are you an experienced, hardworking Superintendent who strives for top-quality results? Do you prefer overseeing projects directly from the field? If so, a well-established and award-winning General Contractor is looking for you to join their team.
Travel is required.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing commercial, multifamily, or light industrial construction projects. From day one, you'll be responsible for overseeing the field operations of a project, ensuring timely completion within budget and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors for timely project completion.
* Perform quality control checks to ensure the work meets high standards.
* Communicate effectively with the project team regarding RFIs and material submittals.
* Ensure subcontractors are executing their work per the contracted scope.
* Identify and resolve construction conflicts in collaboration with the project team.
* Maintain a detailed daily log of job site activities.
* Ensure the job site remains clean and well-organized.
* Complete punch list items as projects progress and close out.
Qualifications:
* Willingness to travel.
* Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial, multifamily, or light industrial construction.
* Strong understanding of construction trades.
* Ability to write reports and effectively communicate with customers and employees.
* Proven track record managing and directing subcontractors.
* Proficient in reading blueprints.
