Village Green Llc in Spring, TX is looking for one Remote Senior UI/UX Designer to join our 25 person strong team. We are located on 7910 West Rayford Dr. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.

Job Overview: We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior UI/UX Designer to help lead and shape the design of our digital platforms. In this role, you will work remotely with cross-functional teams to create user-centric solutions that delight and engage our customers. You will be responsible for defining the entire design process, from research and ideation through to high-fidelity design, prototyping, and user testing. This is a hands-on, leadership role that requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of both UI and UX design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Design Initiatives: Own the design process for digital products from end-to-end, including research, wireframing, prototyping, UI design, and user testing.
• User-Centered Design: Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing, etc.), create personas, journey maps, and other deliverables that inform and validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define user needs and business goals, and align on design direction.
• Design and Prototype: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that clearly communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Ensure Consistency: Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across all touchpoints and platforms.
• Iterate Based on Feedback: Collect and analyze user feedback, data, and testing results to continuously improve and iterate on designs.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level designers, helping to elevate the overall design quality of the team.
• Stay Current with Trends: Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously push the design process forward.
• Remote Collaboration: Work effectively with a distributed, global team across different time zones, using tools such as Slack, Zoom, Figma, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both UI and UX design for web and mobile platforms.
• User-Centered Design: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, including user research, personas, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Design Tools: Proficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong experience working in a collaborative, remote environment with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve complex user experience problems while balancing user needs with business goals.
• High Attention to Detail: A strong eye for design, ensuring consistency, clarity, and usability in every project.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain design decisions and engage stakeholders.
• Remote Work Experience: Comfortable working in a remote environment with asynchronous communication and distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Design System Experience: Experience in creating or maintaining a design system for a large-scale product or platform.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus, but not required.
• Leadership Experience: Previous experience leading design projects or mentoring junior team members is highly desirable.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working within Agile or Scrum development processes.
