Job Title: Research Analyst

Location: Bethesda MD (Onsite National Institute of Mental Health)

Hours: FullTime (40 hours per week)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Research Analyst to support scientific project coordination analysis and reporting at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). The role involves analyzing research projects managing data and preparing reports to advance critical scientific initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and classify scientific research projects (grants contracts and studies).
Prepare reports presentations and written materials detailing data findings.
Collaborate with internal teams to monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
Conduct literature reviews and summarize technical and scientific research findings.
Support quality assurance processes data validation and secure data management.
Assist with NIHwide data collection efforts and provide training/support to staff.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Psychology Biology Life Sciences or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
- Experience with data management reporting and scientific coding practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with NIH grants funding mechanisms or administrative databases is a plus.
