We are a small, dynamic team that thrives on innovation, agility, and a deep commitment to uncovering and maximizing value in every deal. Our culture is entrepreneurial, empowering self-starters who take initiative, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and don’t require micromanagement.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Financial Analyst with at least 2 years of experience in the industry. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing investment opportunities, conducting financial modeling, and supporting our team in executing strategic transactions. This is a hands-on role offering a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial modeling and analysis of real estate investment opportunities, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.
  • Prepare pro forma models, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Research market trends, demographic data, and economic drivers to support investment decisions.
  • Assist in due diligence, including reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and property inspections.
  • Collaborate with team members on the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and reporting materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support asset management with financial performance monitoring and strategy optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, or related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including complex financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with real estate metrics such as NOI, IRR, cap rates, and cash-on-cash returns.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to stakeholders.
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field is preferred.

What We Offer:

  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial work environment that encourages innovation and autonomy.
  • Opportunities to work directly with senior executives and gain exposure to all aspects of the investment lifecycle.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • The chance to make a meaningful impact at a small but ambitious organization with a strong track record.

How to Apply:

Please send your resume, a cover letter detailing your experience and interest in the role, and a sample of financial modeling work (if available) to yvonne@brass.us
