Job Description

Join our dynamic academic team as a FullTime Nursing Program Instructor. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing who is also a registered RN. This role involves delivering highquality education to nursing students ensuring their academic and professional growth in alignment with our institutions standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Excellence: Prepare and deliver engaging lectures laboratory sessions and clinical instruction following the established curriculum and guidelines. Develop course outlines and objectives as needed.
Student Engagement: Monitor and document student attendance and retention. Provide timely grading of assignments (within 48 hours) and offer educational assistance during office hours or by appointment.
Academic Support: Advise students on academic performance and school policies. Communicate effectively with the Lead Instructor Program Chair Academic Dean or Campus President regarding student progress and concerns.
Resource Management: Submit requests for textbooks supplies and equipment. Monitor inventory and secure necessary materials to support educational activities.
Professional Development: Maintain professional expertise through continual learning and development activities such as seminars workshops and mandatory training sessions.
Collaboration and Participation: Attend all scheduled meetings and serve on committees as needed. Substitute in classes when required and participate in curriculum development and retention initiatives.
Online Instruction (if applicable): Ensure daily engagement with the course monitor student participation respond to inquiries and grade work within 48 hours.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing
Registered RN with current license
Strong communication and organizational skills
Commitment to student success and professional growth
Must be able to work OnCampus (Rockford IL)
