Now Hiring: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Windsor, CT

Shift:

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-3:30pm, $20.00/hr

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm, $21.40/hr

Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a knack for mechanical assembly? We're seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Assemble preformed sheet metal parts using various tools including drills, wrenches, high-pressure carts, screwdrivers, hammers, and more.

• Operate equipment safely, prioritizing personal and coworker well-being.

• Assemble and pressure test valves and similar components.

• Interpret assembly and sub-assembly drawings and sketches accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Log daily work on manufacturing and/or production travelers.

• Complete other assignments as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the assembly of preformed sheet metal parts and using mechanical equipment is required.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred.

• Ability to safely move over uneven terrain and in restricted spaces.

• Ability to climb ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.

• Ability to work in and around areas with limited space.

• Availability to work first or second shift.

• Proficient in using, reading, and interpreting drawings and measuring tools.

• Excellent teamwork and independent work skills.

• Familiarity with tablets and computers.
