POSITION SUMMARY:

Roll up your sleeves and get ready to dive into the hands-on role of our reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician

As the successful candidate, you will be crucial to our property management services, ensuring the meticulous upkeep of our luxurious vacation rental properties. Each day will offer variety as you head out to assist with setting up new properties with duties like assembling and placing furniture or performing preventative maintenance measures to preserve each home's pristine condition. We’ll also rely on you to perform basic home repairs that do not require a licensed technician, ranging from fixing leaky faucets to troubleshooting appliances - keeping our properties in top-notch condition and ready for the next guests.

This role will require you to have excellent problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments. You must also be able to identify potential issues before they become problems and be proactive in addressing them.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of properties to ensure they are in excellent condition, promptly addressing any wear and tear or damages.
  • Assist in setting up and preparing new vacation homes, ensuring all facilities are operational and meet our brand's high standards. 
  • Adhere to our preventative maintenance program to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate, preserving the property's pristine condition. 
  • Perform a range of basic home repairs that do not require a licensed technician, such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks. 
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and rectify maintenance issues swiftly and efficiently. 
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and team members across departments to ensure a coordinated approach to property management.
  • Take responsibility for the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and standards to enhance property reliability and guest satisfaction. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in home maintenance with a solid foundation in home repair and systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and furniture assembly. 
  • Vacation rental experience is a plus but not required 
  • Excellent at multitasking with great organizational skills 
  • Able to work well both independently and on a team 
  • Able to learn and use apps to keep track of jobs and update details. 
  • Must have a proactive mindset and be open to contributing to the company's growth and success. 
  • You must have a valid Driver’s License, a reliable vehicle, and be willing to drive to multiple locations throughout your shift.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 based on experience and achievement 

Benefits: 

  • Paid time off, such as PTO, sick days, and vacation days 

Availability: Must have flexible availability to accommodate guest's arrivals and departures.
