Acara Solution and our client in Dedham, MA have a contract-to-hire position available.

Information Assurance Specialist

Active Secret Clearance is required 

Here's what you'd do:

• Contributes to the achievement of business objectives
• Recognizes and incorporates various security designs and lessons learned
• Regular contact with senior levels of internal security work groups
• Works under limited direction
• Contact with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department and with project teams
• Maintains contact with the external customers' security professionals.
• t least 8 years of experience in systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience with cybersecurity standards, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DIACAP, STIGs, and other government security guidelines.
• Over 8 years of experience in cybersecurity technologies and trends.
• At least 8 years of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science or Mathematics 
• Minimum of 8 years experience in systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories
• Minimum of 8 years experience in cyber security specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), DIACAP, STIGs and other government security specifications and guidelines
• Minimum of 8 years experience in cyber security technology and trends
• Minimum of 8 years experience in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• Ability to communicate issues, impacts, and corrective actions as they affect the cyber design and implementation
• Ability to clearly report relevant cyber systems engineering design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to sell concepts and ideas
• Ability to participate in or lead security workgroups
• Creative thinker, good multi-tasker

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen. 
• Active Secret DoD Clearance
