At Mercury Pharmacy Services, our mission is to provide an excellent patient care experience to those we serve through innovative pharmacy services and medication compliance solutions. As a Long Term Care Pharmacy, our specialty is providing medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Communities, and Boarding Homes across the state.
We are seeking a skilled Full-Time Pharmacist with the ability to work in a high-volume environment and a passion for being part of an energetic team. In this role, you will be a key player working within pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing processes, and fostering a collaborative work environment. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and facility staff to deliver medication management and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support pharmacy staff, ensuring cohesive teamwork in a high-volume setting.
Review and verify prescriptions for long-term care patients, maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance.
Provide expert guidance to healthcare providers and staff on medication therapy and potential drug interactions.
Support a positive work environment by mentoring team members and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain efficient workflow and timely delivery of medications.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
Active pharmacist license in Washington State or ability to obtain licensure.
Experience in a high-volume pharmacy environment, with a strong foundation in pharmacotherapy.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices within a pharmacy environment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a positive, and productive team.
