Our client, a rapidly growing emerging tile industry leader is seeking a dynamic and experienced Ecommerce and Merchandising Manager to lead and expand our online sales strategy across multiple platforms, including Home Depot, Lowe's, and Wayfair. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ecommerce operations, including product merchandising, pay-per-click advertising, and platform-specific strategies. This role is critical to driving our ecommerce growth and requires a leader who can effectively manage and utilize existing resources while developing a forward-looking strategy to take the business to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Manage relationships with key online platforms, ensuring optimal product placement, merchandising, and advertising strategies.
  • Oversee product merchandising efforts to enhance online visibility and conversion rates.
  • Analyze current ecommerce performance and identify areas for improvement to drive sales growth.
  • Oversee a small team, providing leadership and direction to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure alignment on ecommerce initiatives.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize ecommerce strategies.
  • Work closely with the current ecommerce manager to leverage her strengths while filling in gaps in expertise and availability.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in ecommerce management, with a track record of driving significant sales growth.
  • Expertise in online platform management, including Home Depot, Lowe's, and Wayfair.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including pay-per-click advertising and product merchandising .
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team, with a hands-on approach when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, informed decisions.
  • Preference for candidates with a background in managing ecommerce for consumer goods or building products.
