As a Digital Marketing and Video Specialist at RDI Technologies, you’ll lead and create video content that tells our story, promotes our products, and enhances our brand. There is more than one way to tell a story, and we are looking for a Digital Marketer and Video Specialist who can take one video and create many different stories from that video. You’ll be interested and/or experienced in marketing, digital media, and social media. In addition, you:
- Understand the impact video makes with our audience and you can leverage video assets for omni-channel marketing campaigns.
- Be creative and able to work with subject matter experts to turn ideas into compelling stories that are shared through video.
- Provide feedback to SME’s on project timelines, potential challenges, and suggestions to take a project from concept to completion.
- Use a variety of technical skills and software to complete production, including Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
- Experienced with YouTube and Vimeo video platforms and understands how to leverage each tool to meet campaign objectives.
- Possess strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Work in a team environment, with stakeholders from a wide variety of departments, including marketing, sales and leadership.
Key Responsibilities: - Shoots video and produces content as needed
- Edits videos to targeted length and specifications
- Handles and organizes raw and edited video files
- Adds intro and outro to video files for consistency
- Exports video and facilitates mobile and web distribution
- Posts videos to central repository for file access by stakeholders
- Posts videos to YouTube and Vimeo channels
- Ensures compliance with brand guidelines
Video Editor Job Requirements - Minimum 1 year of video, video editing and digital marketing experience
- Proficient in video editing tools and other software (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom)
- Understanding of digital trends and editing principles
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
