The Contract Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process from job posting through offer negotiation for a variety of roles at a major university in Boston, working closely with hiring managers and HR liaisons to source, attract, and hire top talent.

This temporary contract position is expected to continue through March 2025 and will follow hybrid schedule with 3 days/week on-site at the Boston office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the Recruitment Process: Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job postings, screening, and interviews to extending offers
• Partner with Hiring Managers: Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies
• Source Talent: Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract diverse and qualified candidates through various platforms
• Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication, timely feedback, and transparency throughout the process
• Track Recruitment Activity: Update and maintain requisition and candidate progress within the ATS to ensure accurate records

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a large/complex organization
• Ability to effectively use various platforms and methods to source and attract top talent
• Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, key recruiting tools/applications, and best practices
• Commitment to promoting diversity in hiring practices
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
