5 years minimum Roofing Experience Preferred

Shamrock Roofing & Construction is a family-owned roofing and construction company headquartered in Kansas City and has been operating since 1977. In the last few years, our business has exploded in the Midwest with additional locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and now Colorado. This growth has allowed us to expand our team and offer more employment opportunities at home and surrounding markets. Although we’ve grown exponentially, we haven’t lost the “family-owned” business feel. 

• Responsible for developing customer relationships with clients leading to a negotiated sales opportunity in commercial roofing projects.
• Estimate roofing projects, either by plans and specifications or site inspections, to produce a scope of work, and prepare an estimate and written proposal.
• Manage the estimate and proposal process from beginning to end.
• Full comprehension of commercial/industrial roofing system design, installation, code compliance and manufacturer's requirements for warranty.
• Identify bidding opportunities from multiple platforms and maintain bid list and their corresponding documents
• Track ongoing projects to identify changes in scope of work and potential change orders
• Cost analysis of ongoing projects to further develop unit pricing and to improve the overall bid process

Requirements

• The successful candidate must be able to read construction documents
• Good organizational and communication skills, must be a motivated, self-starter.
• Have exceptional math and writing skills, review and submit shop drawings and submittals.
• Work well as an essential team members
• Schedule pre-roofing conference before roofing work begins.
• Maintain job site records, daily reports, delay requests, Monitor job progress and control costs
• Resolve problems and issues that may arise – includes both technical and contractual.
• Provide support to the Construction manager as required for materials, schedule, and cost information.
• Submit monthly billings based on contract requirements.
• Experience with Stack estimating software (or similar software) is a plus.
• Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
• Ability to do on-roof inspections. 
• Must possess a valid Driver’s license
