Job Description

As we grow our service area in the Pacific Northwest, we are seeking a Clinical Liaison Registered Nurse to join our team of experts in the Eugene, Oregon area.

Emerging Health is a pharmacy and infusion center committed to providing patients exceptional experiences and healthcare solutions. We offer private infusion suites at our office in SW Portland, Oregon. Our second office in Eugene opened early 2024 and is allowing us to expand our reach of care to more communities along the coast, in the Willamette Valley and in Southern Oregon. Our home infusion services provide patients the option of receiving care from the comfort of their home.

We are recruiting a Clinical Liaison Registered Nurse to join our team of health care professionals. As a Clinical Liaison Registered Nurse, you will work directly with case managers and discharge planners to acquire and process home infusion referrals within the hospital systems and independent practices. This position has a sales responsibility and is managed by the Director of Sales.

Job type: Full-time

Pay range: $106,453.06 - $135,733.28 annually (depending on experience)

Position responsibilities:
  1. Provide clinical education and manage marketing services to clinics, hospitals, and physician referral sources.
  2. Assess and coordinate, in partnership with Case Managers and Discharge Planners, home infusion services to assist with determining the plan of care administered by Emerging Health, under the direction of the patients provider.
  3. Conduct patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission to services.
  4. Assist with providing patient and caregiver training on therapy, monitoring, and side effects; demonstrate procedure for administering therapy in the home, with a return demonstration from the patient / caregiver.
  5. Maintain and grow facility customer relationships and provide responsive customer service with assigned accounts; evaluate current and future clinical and service needs for existing and new accounts.
  6. Conduct in-services and continuing education programs for referral sources and / or their support staff, partner with the Director of Sales on presentations to current and potential accounts.
  7. Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and referral sales goals.
  8. Other duties as assigned.
Required skills:
  1. Registered Nurse (RN) License in Oregon and Washington required.
  2. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, healthcare administration, nursing, or another related field strongly preferred.
  3. Valid driver's license.
  4. Minimum two (2) years of former healthcare sales experience strongly preferred.
  5. Extensive healthcare sales work experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  6. Knowledge of the Infusion Nursing standards (INS) and nursing process

  • Proficiency in standard workplace software and/or information management applications.
  • Prior experience working in an infusion pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to navigate computer applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
